wishlist
Taking a cue from Danielle-sama, my wishlist is quite short. If you see something here, that means I really love the subject and would really, really love to have the listing. I'd say this is my kill-for list, but I really wouldn't kill someone for them. Okay, I'd kill Barney ... but he needs to die anyway ... that doesn't count ...
This, of course, is to say nothing ill about the current owners of these fanlistings. Many of them are doing a wonderful job with the listings.

Hotaru no Haka (Grave of the Fireflies)
Fireflies is heartwrenching. It is the saddest, most poignant story you will ever hear. To say simply that it is about two children who starve to death during WWII does this incredible, beautiful movie an injustice. It is one of the best war films ever made, and one that tells the true story of the actual cost of war. It is the finest film ever made - and one every one should see, even when it's hard to bear.

Feminism
The reasons I support feminism can't be said better than Dale Spender did: "Feminism has fought no wars. It has killed no opponents. It has set up no concentration camps, starved no enemies, practiced no cruelties. Its battles have been for education, for the vote, for better working conditions ... for safety on the streets ... for child care, for social welfare ... for rape crisis centers, women's refuges, reforms in the law. (if someone says) 'Oh, I'm not a feminist,' (I ask) 'Why? What's your problem?'"
