Wish

This used to be my wishlist - but now there is only one subject, so it is simply my wish.  It has always been at the top of my list, and is the absolute best film I have ever seen.  It is the only fanlisting I would still apply for.

Fireflies is heartwrenching.  It is the saddest, most poignant story you will ever hear.  To say simply that it is about two children who starve to death during WWII does this incredible, beautiful movie an injustice.  It is one of the best war films ever made, and one that tells the true story of the actual cost of war.  It is the finest film ever made - and one every one should see, even when it's hard to bear.
