This is A Hero of Our Time, the fanlisting for Oberst (Colonel) Claus Schnek Graf von Stauffenberg.
Stauffenberg was the leading figure in the July Plot, or Operation Valkyrie, the failed coup d'état and assassination attempt against Adolf Hitler in 1944.
While Stauffenberg and his fellow conspirators failed in their attempt, their heroism and courage in standing up against the Nazi regime, especially Stauffenberg's personal courage as a man of deep honor and ethics, coupled with his willingness to take action, should not be forgotten. This man was a true hero, and I can only hope that I would prove any margin of his nobility and courage in such a difficult hour.
