Crew

The original creator of Jin-Roh is Oshii Mamoru, who created the Kerberos Saga and wrote the screenplay for Jin-Roh.  Oshii's best known film is Kokaku Kidotai (Ghost in the Shell), but his credits as a director also include Kokaku Kidotai 2, Patlabor, Patlabor 2, and Tenshi no Tamago (Angel's Egg) - as well as live action films and other anime.

The film was directed by Okiura Hiroyuki, a student of Oshii's, who was also responsible for character designs, storyboard and key animation.  Okiura also co-directed the Cowboy Bebop movie, did key animation for Blood: The Last Vampire, Metoporisu, and Kokaku Kidotai, and did character designs for Kokaku Kidotai and Magnetic Rose (from Memorizu).

other interpretations

Jin-Roh is in many ways a reworking of the traditional tale of Little Red Riding Hood. The name of this listing is one of the German names for this story.

Jin-Roh is also part of the larger Kerberos Saga, which includes manga, live-action films (both feature length and short), radio dramas, a novel, as well as another anime film.

fanlistings

A fanlisting is a place for fans from all around the globe to come and declare their love for something, in this case the film Jin-Roh. This little net-hobby started with fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has expanded greatly from there. Basically, it's just a way to show your fandom.

The headquarters for this effort are the sister networks of TFL and TAFL.
