I'm working on making this a thorough shrine to Jin-Roh and the world Oshii Mamoru created that this story is told in, and I hope to have a good amount of content here soon. Jin-Roh is one of my favorite anime films and one I think everyone ought to see. It's a very powerful film, both in the quality of the animation, the imagery that is used, and the symbolism of it all. It's also a disturbing film, in the kind of ways in which we all need to be disturbed, and the questions that it asks about violence, power and the inhumanity of man and government are all the more pertinent in today's climate. This is a film that asks tough questions and makes you think, which is what I love about it. Stats
