Flash

After the cancellation of Firestorm, Gerry Conway was shuffled by DC to writing The Flash.  Conway was unwilling to let his character simply die with the DC Implosion, so he began writing short Firestorm stories that were featured in the back of The Flash, as well as featuring Firestorm as a supporting character in the comic.

These stories were sort of in between the first and second runs of Firestorm in quality.  They did feature some important events in Firestorm’s canon, however, including Ronnie informing Martin that they formed Firestorm together when Martin would lose his memory, and Stein slowly working toward remembering that portion of his life.

These were the issues of The Flash (vol. 1) in which Firestorm appeared:

  • 289-299

  • 301-304

  • 323

  • 327-329
